This will be a conversation during which professional mental health specialist will hear, educate, provide and suggest solutions to young woman in the incapacity of facing society after going through crisis.

This event will help us make significant progress to achieving our goal in building self-esteem and self-confidence to those affected.

We have invited some of the great and experienced community leaders to elaborate more on several topics like Sexual Abuse, Childhood Trauma, Domestic Violence, mental health, COVID-19 Vaccine, our goals and more.

Research shows that men are around 3 times likely to die from depression than women because they rarely open up.
My name is Stephanna , I battled depression for 1 & half years and I’m inviting you to come listen to my story. My goal is to help those who are afraid to talk seek help and open up.

Understanding Autism

In 2020, the CDC reported that approximately 1 in 54 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD), according to 2016 data.
1 in 34 boys identified with autism
1 in 144 girls identified with autism.
We are super excited to kickoff the first community building event for families and individuals with autism.
Our event is dedicated to promoting solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the life span, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
 
Join us this Saturday November 27, 2021, 8pm Pacific Time for a virtual FREE event starting with community introductions, Autism, Mental health awareness with some parents who have dedicated their lives for the well being of their kids.

Child Abuse Awareness Month

The Month of April is Child Abuse Awareness and Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
The African Immigrant Families Together is hosting a series of trainings to highlight the intersection of Child Sexual Abuse with other social issues, including Children Trafficking, Childhood Trauma, and Domestic Violence.
